Hello!

I hope you’re all well! This email is sooo long so i’ve broken it down into lots of bitesize chunks!  Hope this helps !  -Chrissy xx

Next meeting

For our upcoming meeting we’ve invited a speaker called Tony to share his experiences of being a destitute asylum seeker to reinforce why it is so important to campaign against forced destitution and support groups like Positive Action in Housing, Unity in the Community and Refugee Survival Trust who are quite literally saving people lives.  We will also be making posters for our Sleep out event!  We’re planning on painting statistics on these posters which highlight the scale of the problem – so if you have any good statistics please bring them along!

!!!SLEEPOUT!!!
ALSO IT’S OUR SLEEPOUT ON FRIDAY!   It’s amazing how fast it’s come round but it’s our Sleep Out this FRIDAY!  Come along (for the night or just part of it) and help us raise money for Positive Action in Housing!  Get sponsored or donate on the night!  We’re running an Open Air Cabaret so encourage yourself, or your talented friends to come along and perform – doing anything! Also, we’ll be running a Food Collection bin on the night for the Unity in the Community night shelter so if you can, bring along some food!  EVENT PAGE – https://www.facebook.com/events/1390344064535933/ and JUSTGIVING – http://www.justgiving.com/Star-Glasgow
